The Scottish Terrier

The origin of the breed was in Scotland, around the 1800. It´s one of the breeds ( terrier ) most ancient with the Skye Terrier, Cain Terrier and West Higland Terrier.
His best popular and recognized age was between 1920-1934 and it never fall, and now we are more and more popular. The ones who loves the breed, uses his figures in publications, the same that the famous scotland´s wisky does.
Talking about the ¨ Enghish gentleman ¨:he is a pacient, tolerant, valient and intelligent dog.
His temperament is the most important thing in the breed. He isn`t very sociable with other dogs, if it´s out of order, you must pay attention because the scottish has not conscience of his size.
He´s allways alert, he´s a guard dog, he´s listening all that happens around him.
Like a good terrier ite he´s vallerous.
He is good for kids but not for the strangers.
About his coat, we have not much to say: it´s hard, with a dense undercoat; the coat should be trimmed an blended into the furnishings to give a distinct
